Shannon Searson is a fine art photographer from Long Island. The main focus of her work is environmental and studio portraiture. She has also created many series of conceptual work that centers around the idea of past memories and personal experiences in her life. 

She graduated from Suffolk County Community College in 2018, where she received her AAS in Photographic Imaging. She will be graduating this spring with her BFA in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology. 

This artist has been granted the Photographic Imaging Award for academic excellence and The James and Celeste Desario Purchase Award in 2018. Her work has been published as a finalist in Photographer Forums Magazine four times. Her work has been exhibited at The Long Island Museum of Art, multiple group exhibitions at Suffolk County Community College and her Junior class exhibit at FIT called Viewfinder.
